ANNOUNCING OUR Spring Conference

The Evangelical Reformed Presbyterian Church will hold its Spring Conference on Tuesday, April 4th, 2006 at First Presbyterian Church in Rising Sun, Maryland, from 9 AM to 4 PM. The conference theme is "Catching The Vision for a New Presbyterian Church."

The conference site is halfway between Baltimore and Philadelphia off Interstate 95, convenient for driving or flying. Planned speakers: Dr. Clinton S. Foraker, Dr. Jeffery A. Sheely, Russell A. Bleeker, Paul M. Elliott, and Arne A. Wilkening.

Planned topics:

  • Preaching Truth to the Exclusion of Error: Refuting Today's Doctrinal Revisionism

  • Why the ERPC: The Vision for a New Presbyterian Church

  • A Brief History of the ERPC

  • The ERPC's Distinctives in Doctrine & Government

  • How to Affiliate With the ERPC

  • Question & Answer Session

Many pastors, elders and deacons from around the country who wanted to attend our November 2005 conference could not, because it was held on a Sunday. So we decided to hold our Spring conference on a weekday to make it possible for more ordained men to attend without being taken away from their Lord's Day responsibilities. The conference sessions will be geared toward the interests of ordained men, but all church members are welcome to attend.

Lunch and morning/afternoon refreshments will be provided. A number of books will be available for purchase, as well as free publications.

We do ask that you register in advance. There is no charge for the conference, but your registration will help us plan for refreshments, luncheon, and printed materials. Please register via this link, and be sure to include the following information:

  • Name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number of each individual who will be attending.

  • Please also let us know if you need overnight accommodations. We can provide information on area hotels and motels. If enough people are interested, we will try to arrange for discount-priced block of rooms.

We look forward to a great time of fellowship centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ, the inerrant Word of God, and a Biblical vision for a new Presbyterian church.
